Kindness.
If there is anything in life that is free, it is the ability to be kind.
We often get bogged down by harsh happenings in the world. In response to this and in hopes of making the world a little brighter, we created the Kindness Campaign.
In the past, we have gathered plastic bags to weave into sleeping mats for the homeless. We’ve collected yarn to darn scarves for homeless shelters. We’ve gathered oodles of travel size toiletries and donated hygiene packs to both the Family Service Agency and the Panama City Rescue Mission. Last year, we collected on-the-go non-perishable snacks and added them to a tote bag that also contained hygiene packs.
This year, we are implementing a two-part campaign. Though we are still finalizing details for the second part of our campaign, we are excited to announce that we are collecting hair accessories to gift to the kids at Anchorage Children’s Home.
We hope to be inundated with combs, brushes, hair ties, barrettes, clips, etc. What may seem like little things to us will make a big difference to those kids who want to feel “normal” and to have something of their own.
We thank you in advance for your generosity!
